Abstract:
To provide a treatment method of a vent gas from heat-treatment of plant biomass, and an apparatus used for treatment.SOLUTION: A method for treating vent gas vapor comprises the steps of: heat-treating plant biomass 8 in a heat-treatment chamber 1; directing the vent gas vapor from heat-treatment to a series of interconnected condensers to form a flow of the vent gas vapor through the series of condensers; and collecting at least a portion of compositions of the vent gas vapor in each condenser. A temperature of each condenser is set to the temperature lower than the temperature in a previous condenser in the series of condensers, and the temperature of a first condenser in the series of condensers is set to the temperature lower than the temperature in the heat-treatment chamber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
