PURPOSE: To reduce a feeding load and perform stable and smooth feeding of welding wire by inserting a welding wire into a guide tube having spiralled of inner peripheral wall, and rotating the guide tube in circumferential direction.
CONSTITUTION: A welding wire 2 is inserted into a conduit cable 4 by a feeder 3 and fed to a torch 5. The conduit cable 4 consists of an outer cover 8 and a guide tube 9, and inner wall of the guide tube 9 is spirablled. When the wire feeder 3 and a guide tube driving motor 10 are started simultaneously and the welding wire 2 is fed to the conduit cable 4, the wire 2 receives thrust of spiral inner peripheral wall of the guide tube 9. Thus, feeding load is lightened, and the wire can be fed stably and smoothly to the torch 5.
