Abstract:

To provide a method and apparatus for filtering a vegetable crude oil, improved in filtering performance, capable of increasing a cake solid content and facilitating maintenance control by improvement of removal of the cake.

A vegetable crude oil 40 is heated at 100°C to 120°C for 1-90 min in a heating tank 20 and the heated crude oil 2 is filtered.
