To provide a clothes finishing apparatus capable of reducing steam consumption.
The clothes finishing apparatus includes: a lower iron 10; an upper iron 20 which moves in the vertical direction relative to the lower iron 10; a vacuum/blower portion 4 connected to the lower iron 10; a steam feeding portion 3 connected to the upper iron 20; and control means 9. The control means 9 controls the steam feeding portion 3 with the clothes pressed by the lower iron 10 and upper iron 20 to feed steam to the upper iron 20, controls the vacuum/blower portion 4 while suspending steam feeding to vacuum from the lower iron 10 to the vacuum/blower portion 4, and next, to blow air from the vacuum/blower portion 4 to the lower iron 10. Infiltration of steam (humidity) into the clothes can be facilitated and steam accumulated in the upper iron 20 can be moved to the clothes by the vacuuming. The steam accumulated in the lower iron 10 can be returned to the clothes by the next blowing of air to the lower iron 10.
