The apparatus for holding the blow molded article is constituted of a mold 2 for grasping a parison a and the molded article holder 5 openable and closable in the same direction as the on-off direction of the mold 2 and movable in an up and down direction with respect to at least the air blow nozzle 4 and equipped with a drive mechanism for opening and closing and moving the holder.
