METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR INSPECTING LEAKAGE OF GAS PIPING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for inspecting the leakage of a gas piping, by which information required for the judgment of the leakage even at the using time of gas, and the possibility of the shortening of judging time is provided.
SOLUTION: The flow rate of the gas, which is supplied through a gas bypass line 11a, is measured by a flow-rate detecting means 15 based on the premise that there is no leakage in a gas piping 11, and monitoring is performed for a specified period. A leakage-inference-value setting means 27a-2 sets the minimum flow rate, the second minimum flow rate and the minimum-change-width flow rate during the specified period as the inference values of the leakage. Thereafter, a leakage judging means 27a-4 judges the presence or absence of the doubt of the leakage based on the measured minimum flow rates, which are measured by a leakage-inference-value measuring means 28a-3 at every specified inspecting time, and the preset inference value of leakage. When the judgment of the presence of the leakage doubt have continued by the specified number of times, a leakage detecting means 27a-5 detects the presence of the minute leakage. An airtight-leakage inspecting means 27a-6 performs the airtight leakage inspection of the gas piping.
