To provide a method and an apparatus for laying cables with a high working efficiency capable of laying cables in a buried conduit by a small number of workers and in a short working time.
This apparatus is constituted by being provided with a cable tray portion cable automatic drawing frame 4 having a winding roller 5 for winding up the cables 21 and provided adjacent to the cable tray 3 provided at an opening portion of the buried conduit 6 in which the cables are laid in its inner portion, a cable induction machine 8 provided with an upper roller 9 and a lower roller 12 for supporting and smoothly running the cables, and provided at a relay terminal box 7 connected with the buried conduit 6, and a relay terminal box cable automatic drawing frame 10 having a winding roller 5 for winding up the cables 21 and provided so as to face the cable induction machine 8.
