Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive to hardly add a bending force to a joining part of a veneer just after joining.
SOLUTION: A veneer B is moved in the arrow Q direction in a state wherein a scarf cut face of a front end part of the veneer B pinched between a holding base 21 and a pressurizing material 23 is raised upward. The motion is stopped at a position wherein a central part of the scarf cut face at the front end part of the veneer B reaches a central part of a lower hotplate 71. Then, the scarf cut face at the front end part of the veneer B is lowered downward, and the scarf cut face of the going second veneer B is successively joined to the scarf cut face of the going first veneer A with an upper hotplate 73 and the lower hotplate 71.
