Abstract:

PURPOSE: To easily form a fabric by arranging a plurality of rods provided with a bent extremity at one end around a mandrel, and winding a strand of filaments while relatively moving up and down these adjacent rods with each other.
CONSTITUTION: This apparatus is provided with an electric actuator 2 rotated by a motor 5 through engagement of a gear 6 and a toothed ring 6, and this actuator 2 moves a rod 2B in the vertical direction by energizing and controlling through a slip ring 9. At the upper end of this rod 2B a mandrel 10 with an external shape corresponding to the internal shape of a hollow fiber reinforcing member is mounted, and near this mandrel 10 a plurality of elastic rods 11 which have curved extremities and are moved up and down by a vibrational blade 14 are provided. A strand of filaments which is transmitted from a reel 27 and delivered through a strand guide 25 supported on a carriage 19 is alternately wound on the rods 11 to form a lattice of filament.
