To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a chemical substance which enable manufacture of a high-quality chemical substance because, even for a reaction system producing a gas during the first mixing reaction, the mixing can be performed uniformly and efficiently without disturbance of bubbles of the gas, while the gas in the reaction solution can be degassed thoroughly before the second mixing reaction.
The method of manufacturing a chemical substance through a reaction producing a gas has the first mixing process of carrying out the first mixing reaction of two or more solutions L1 and L2 in the first tightly closed mixer 12, a degassing process of degassing bubbles 98 of the gas produced in the reaction solution LM prepared in the first mixing process, in a degassing unit 14 equipped with a gas-liquid interface 84 and the second mixing process of adding an additional solution L3 to the reaction solution LM degassed in the degassing process to carry out the second mixing reaction in the second mixer 13. The reaction solution LM is fed rapidly from the first mixing process to the degassing process, while fed to the second mixing process after completion of the degassing in the degassing process.
