Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce a manufacturing man-hour and to reduce a manufacturing cost by using stems of gramineous plants such as kaoliang stems, etc., to be semipermanently supplied and using the stems of the grasses as they are or them by rolling.
CONSTITUTION: Since flat stems 3 are, after cracks are generated in a fiber direction by collapsing means, dipped in thermosetting resin liquid (r), the stems 3 are effectively impregnated with the liquid (r). Since dry stems 6 are sutured in an aligned state before laminating, bundled to a sheetlike matter 8, it is easily handled at the time of laminating to improve operability. Even if diameters of the stems 3 for constituting the matter 8 are irregular to cause uneven surface to be formed on the matter 8, the stems 6 are spaced at an interval. Thus, when they are brought into pressure contact and superposed with the matter 8 or when the matter 8 is again pressed to be collapsed to coat its surface with adhesive, the dry stems are spread in gaps provided between the stems 6 to prevent waviness.
