Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing softened water by which ions are not increased and dissolved oxygen can be simply and easily decreased and an apparatus for the same.
The apparatus is provided with a softening device 10 in which a cation exchanger 11 of hydroxylamine form or hydrazine form is packed, a pH adjusting means 17 for adjusting pH of an effluent from the softening device 10 and an active carbon device 20 packed with active carbon. Water to be treated is successively made to pass through the softening device, the pH adjusting means and the active carbon device.
