Abstract:

To provide a method and an apparatus for measuring and cutting food dough to perform measuring and cutting accurately even if a recess exists at a superposed part between the rear end side of preceding food dough and the tip side of succeeding food dough.

When food dough 15 is cut into prescribed length by a cutting apparatus 19 arranged below a hopper 17 and dropped on a conveying means 23 arranged below the hopper 17, the food dough 15 in a continuous state obtained by superposing the tip side of succeeding food dough 15B on the rear end side of preceding food dough 15A that is already placed on the conveying means 23 and is being conveyed in the longitudinal direction is transferred to a measuring conveyor 59. When the food dough is cut by a cutter apparatus 61, superposing relationship between the tip side of the preceding food dough 15A and the tip side of the succeeding food dough 15B is retained in transverse superposing relationship, the food dough is measured, the transverse superimposing relationship is retained and the food dough 15 is cut by the cutter apparatus 61.
