Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize loss of a mixed liquid in an early stage.
SOLUTION: In the method for mixing liquids in which the flow rate of a liquid in one tank 1 is a very small flow rate much smaller than that of a liquid in another tank 2, a return line 11 for return to the very small flow rate liquid tank 1 is connected to a very small flow rate liquid line 5, a rotary pump 4 for feeding the very small flow rate liquid is first started at a higher rotational frequency than that in practical mixing, the rotational frequency of the pump is gradually lowered in accordance with rise in the discharge pressure of the pump, and when the discharge pressure reaches a set value at which discharge of remaining water in the liquid line 5 to another liquid feed line 7 finishes, switching to the return line 11 is carried out to circulate the very small flow rate liquid. When the discharge pressure of the pump rises approximately to a set value in practical mixing, the liquid line 5 is brought into communication with the feed line 7 and a rotary pump 6 in the feed line 7 is started.
