Title:
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR NONLINEAR RAMAN SPECTROSCOPY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3691813
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a background of a fluorescence to be removed by a nonlinear Raman spectroscopy and to enable a wide frequency range to be measured at once in a short time.
SOLUTION: Light from a pulse light source 2 is demultiplexed by a branching filter 6 to one exciting light and the other exciting light converted by a wavelength converter 3. The one exciting light from the light source 2 and the other exciting light from the converter 3 are crossed in a substance 10 to be measured and illuminated. Probe light from a monochromatic light source 1 is incident to a transient lattice generated in a substance 10 to be measured so as to satisfy Bragg conditions, and hence signal light diffracted by the substance to be measured is spectrally resolved by a spectroscope 4, and the wide wavelength region is simultaneously measured by a detector 5.
