To provide a garbage disposal device capable of efficiently drying garbage.
A motor 43 is attached to a top board 34 disposed on the upper part of a disposal vessel 12 and an air fan 47 is mounted on the lower end part of the rotary shaft 45 of the motor 43. A guide cylinder 61 is attached to surround the air fan 47. An air passage 70 is formed between an air passage forming plate 61b formed on the upper end of the guide cylinder 61 and the top board 34 and a suction port 61c is formed at the center of the air passage forming plate 61b. A 1st circulation air flow A1 passing through the air passage 70 and the suction port 61c is generated by a 1st fan constituting the air fan 47 and a 2nd circulation air flow A2 is generated inside the 1st circulation air flow by a 2nd fan 52. The circulation of hot air in the disposal vessel 12 is properly performed and the drying efficiency of the garbage is improved.
