Abstract:
To efficiently remove moisture and gas contained in a raw material at the time of molding of a plastic and to prevent the mixing of foreign matter contained in the open air into the raw material.
A plastic molding raw material is charged in a drying hopper 1 to be dried at first by hot air to sufficiently dry the raw material and the dried raw material is subsequently degassed by a vacuum pump 4. Air is removed while inert gas is further injected into the hopper to send the raw material to a transport hopper 27 and the influence of the open air is eliminated to supply the raw material of superior quality to a molding machine.
