PURPOSE: To enable a print to be read easily as soon as the printing is made by a method in which the surface of a printing paper whose back-side print can be read from the surface is contacted with a transparent platen and printing is made on the back of the printing paper by a type block of reverse letters.
CONSTITUTION: Print on the back of a printing paper 1 can be read from the surface. A platen 4 comes into contact with the surface of the printing paper 1 to give a tension to the paper 1 and also to read out the print from the surface of the paper 1, which is made of a transparent material, e.g., glass, transparent plastics, etc. A type block 5 is set on the back side of the paper 1 and moves widewards on a rail 51 while making printing. The type of the type block is reverse lettes, that is, the left and right sides of the usual type are inversed.
