To provide a method for producing a crosslinked resin pipe in which the mutual melt bonding strength of a crosslinkable raw material resin composition in a confluence part is surely secured when the composition is developed in tubular resin channels in a mold and joined together at a resin confluence point so the cross section is tubular when the composition is supplied into the mold for molding the crosslinked resin pipe and an apparatus for the method.
In the method for producing the crosslinked resin pipe which includes a process in which the crosslinkable resin composition extruded from an extruder is supplied into the mold, and after the composition is developed in the tubular resin channels in the mold and joined together at the resin confluence point so that the cross section is tubular, a thermoplastic resin in the composition is crosslinked forcibly, the confluence part of the composition and its vicinity part are removed at the resin confluence point to be discharged outside the mold.
