PURPOSE: To efficiently produce a large amt. of extremely pure water by separating steam and water drops from feed water, conducting the separated steam and water drops to one side face of a hydrophobic porous film, passing the steam through said film and condensing the steam past said film.
CONSTITUTION: The feed water 100 is heated by a heat exchange with the extremely pure water 500 in a heat recovering device 35, is passed through a pump 20 and is heated by a heater 10. The feed water 100 is heated up to the temp. higher by several degress than the satd. steam temp. of an evaporation chamber 51 by the heater 10. The superheated feed water 100 is released from a nozzle 60 into the evaporation chamber 51 so that the water makes self evaporation instantaneously to generate a large amt. of the fine water drops 110. The generated steam 200 flows together with the water drops 110 to the condensing chamber 52. Only the steam enters the condensing chamber in the stage when the steam passed the hydrophobic porous material 3. The steam is cooled and condensed by the surface of a cooling pipe 8 to from the extremely pure water 50 which is stored into an extremely pure water tank 81. As a result, a large amt. of the extremely pure water is efficiently produced from the feed water.
