Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a mop trimmings designed to prevent the yarn pieces used therein from untwisting from the free ends of the yarn pieces on without impairing cleaning effect.
SOLUTION: This method for producing a mop trimmings from threads twisted and cut into pieces involves the step of subjecting the twisted yarns 7 to needle punching prior to being cut into pieces.
