Abstract:
PURPOSE: To mold a pipe fitted with a branch part in a method wherein a cavity is filled with a molten resin and a pressure fluid is subsequently introduced into the cavity under pressure from a pressure port to move a floating core toward a discharge port not only to form a hollow part in the resin within the cavity but also to extrude the excessive resin from the discharge port to integrally mold a hollow pipe.
CONSTITUTION: A cavity is divided into a main cavity 4 and a branch part cavity 5 both of which communicate with each other and, in such a state that a slide shaft 6 is inserted from the branch part cavity 5 toward the main cavity 4, the main cavity 4 and the brach part cavity 5 are filled with a molten resin and a pressure fluid is introduced under pressure from a pressure port to move a floating core 1 toward a discharge port 3 and, after cooling and the discharge of the pressure fluid, the slide shaft 6 is allowed to retreat to take out a molded product.
