To prevent product defects such as the wrinkles and distortion on the surface of a metal foil, the peeling of the metal foil or the like.
In a method for subjecting an object to be molded wherein metal foils are superposed on the upper and rear surfaces of a substrate impregnated with a thermoplastic resin to heating/molding processing by hot rolls having heating means provided therein and cooling the molded product by a cooling roll having a cooling means provided therein, at first, the object to be molded is heated from the normal temp. to the vicinity of the softening/ curing start temp. of the thermoplastic resin by a pair of first hot rolls and further heated from the vicinity of the softening/curing start temp. of the thermoplastic resin to the vicinity of the melting temp. thereof by a pair of hot rolls other than a pair of the first hot rolls and the heated object to be molded is cooled from the vicinity of the melting temp. of the thermoplastic resin to the vicinity of the softening/curing start temp. thereof by a pair of cooling rolls and further cooled from the vicinity of the softening/resin to the vicinity of the normal temp. by a pair of cooling rolls other than a pair of the first cooling rolls.
