Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a thin film wherein the application conditions of a coating liquid can be adjusted just after its application.
SOLUTION: The apparatus for producing a thin film has a reservoir 32 for reserving a coating liquid 31 to be applied to a film 10a, a coating roller 33 for applying the coating liquid 31 reserved in the reservoir 32 to the film 10a, and a drive motor 34 for rotating the coating roller 33. In applying the coating liquid 31 to the film 10a, an intervening coating liquid 31a is formed between the film 10a in running and the coating roller 33, and the film 10a is brought into contact with the intervening coating liquid 31a to apply the coating liquid 31 to the film 10a. The relation between the thickness of the intervening coating liquid 31a and that of a thin film thus formed is kept at 1:1, and by measuring the thickness of the intervening liquid 31a, the rotation speed of the coating roller 33 is adjusted with the drive motor 34.
