Abstract:
An apparatus for obtaining toner particles with improved dispersion of additive components therein comprises a toner extruder (1) including therein a blending chamber (9), a screw miser (11), a heater (17), a toner supply (13), and means (27) for injecting a liquid into the extruder to effect a decrease in the melt temperature of the toner resin particles produced thereby.
