Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pulverize sludge without being accompanied with generation of hardly decomposable coloring components by supplying sludge containing organic matter to a heating container, heating the sludge for a specified time within a specified range of temperature, pulverizing the sludge after the sludge is discharged out of the heating container, and keeping the sludge in a pressurized state immediate before discharge out of the container.
SOLUTION: In the case sludge containing organic matter generated in the wastewater treatment facility, etc., is pulverized, the sludge containing the organic matter is supplied to a heating container 2, heated for 30 sec to 20 min at 80-250°C, and then discharged and pulverized. In this case, immediately before discharge of the sludge out of the container, the sludge is kept in a pressurized state. A pulverizing apparatus comprising, for example, a sludge supplying apparatus 1 and a heating container 2 is used for the treatment and a discharge outlet 3 equipped with an opening and closing valve 4 is formed in the lower end of the heating apparatus 2. Moreover, a stirring apparatus 5 for stirring the sludge in the heating apparatus 2 and an inner pressure meter 6 and an inner thermometer 7 for measuring the inner pressure and the inner temperature of the heating container are installed in the heating container 2 and heating of the heating container 2 is carried out by a heating apparatus 8.
