To provide a method and an apparatus for recovering lithium from a steel slag.
The method includes: a charging step (step S101) of charging the steel slag and water into a pressure-resistant airtight container; a heating step (step S103) of heating the pressure-resistant airtight container to bring the charged water to predetermined high-temperature and high-pressure water; an eluting step (step S104) of eluting the lithium in the steel slag into the high-temperature and high-pressure water by contacting the high-temperature and high-pressure water generated in the heating step with the steel slag; a discharging step (step S105) of, after the eluting step, discharging the high-temperature and high-pressure water in which the lithium is eluted to a lithium recovering means from the pressure-resistant airtight container; and a removing step (step S106) of removing other inorganic components coexisting in the treat water that is discharged to the lithium recovering means and charged.
