PURPOSE: To provide a recovery method for waste plastic capable of recovering oil and a chemical raw material from waste thermoset-plastics and to provide an apparatus which is used for the recovery method.
CONSTITUTION: Pulverized waste plastic 1 having particle diameters of several μm to 1mm is charged into an inlet tank 2. This is transferred from the inlet tank 2 to a heating tank 6 under adjusting falling speed by a gate valve 5. Between the inlet tank 2 and the heating tank 6, a double-layered structure is placed by which the length of the path from the inlet tank 2 to the heating tank 6 is changed, and accordingly, the heating time is adjusted. The waste plastic 1 is heated and thermally cracked in the heating tank 6, and gasified. The formed gas is sent to a cooling tank 17 through a catalyst tank 16. The gas is cooled in the cooling tank 17 to condense to an oil and a chemical raw material, and they are recovered.
