Abstract:

To provide a method and an apparatus for refining nucleic acid on a hydrophilic surface of a solid support by utilizing a hydrogen bond.

The method for refining the nucleic acid comprises a step for binding the nucleic acid to the solid support by bringing a nucleic acid-containing sample into contact with a solution containing a kosmotropic salt on the solid support having a hydrophilic functional group on the surface.
