Title:
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REPRODUCING DATA USING LIGHT BEAM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3214537
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain an optical recording/reproducing method which can reproduce data recorded on an optical recording medium, highly accurately with high sensitivity.
CONSTITUTION: A reflecting light (reproduced beam) from an optical recording medium 1 is spatially separated to three in a width direction of tracks, and each of the separated lights is condensed and detected. Detected three signals are operated thereby to reproduce recording data. Accordingly, adverse influences of crosstalks from adjacent tracks and noises can be suppressed with the utilization of a Fourier transformation action of light by lenses, so that data on the optical recording medium 1 can be reproduced highly accurately with high sensitivity. Moreover, since the reproduced beam is condensed to photodetectors 10, 11, 12 by condenser lens 7, 8, 9 after the beam is split to three, high-speed photo-electric conversion is enabled and data can be transferred at high rate.
