Abstract:

To provide a method and an apparatus for sterilizing underwater plasma, capable of suppressing wear to an electrode and enhancing sterilizing capability by spark streamer discharge.

The apparatus 10 for sterilizing underwater plasma includes a pair of mesh electrodes 30, 32 disposed under water and arranged so as to face each other at some interval and a pulse power supply 20 which generates spark streamer discharge between the electrodes 30, 32 by impressing a pulse voltage on them.
