PURPOSE: To display a long time edition data along with a static image by recording a dynamic image of from a material in the dynamic area A of a disc, transferring a static image at an edition point in the area A to a static image area B of the disc and then presenting the static image in the area B on a display.
CONSTITUTION: A disc 1 has a dynamic image area A and a static image area B split at the starting and ending points (g) (h) of the area A and an edition point, being set while monitoring an image reproduced from a material tape, is recorded in the area A. At that time, a time code is recorded together and a frame of image, reproduced at an edition point address T1, is recorded at a designated address T2 in the area B thus registering the T1 and T2 while relating each other. A static image at address T1 is then reproduced and stored in a temporary memory circuit 8 and a switching circuit 10 is turned to the circuit 8 side thus transferring the static image from the circuit 8 to the address T2 in the area B. Consequently, the static image in the area B is presented on a display and a long time edition data can be displayed together with the static image data without requiring a large capacity memory.
