Abstract:
To propose a method and an apparatus for treating an aromatic halide, especially an aromatic halide suitable for decomposition treatment of polychlorinated biphenyls(PCB)
This method for treating the aromatic halide comprises a first step of emulsifying the aromatic halide or an oil containing the aromatic halide with water and an emulsifying agent, a second step of adding quick lime to the resultant emulsion, stirring and mixing the obtained mixture, a third step of heating the resultant mixture at 150-300°C and a fourth step of heating the obtained mixture at ≥580°C, returning the recovered quick lime to the second step and circulating the quick lime for reutilization.
