PURPOSE: To facilitate impartation of codes to an X-ray film by previously sticking a sheet consisting of an X-ray non-transmitting material to the code applying part of an X-ray film package and stripping the sheet after X-ray photographing, thereby imparting the codes to the film.

CONSTITUTION: The sheet 3 is previously stuck to the point to be imparted with the codes of the X-ray film package C which allows the transmission of X-rays but does not allow the transmission of the other rays and hermetically seals the X-ray film. The sheet is formed of the material which does not allow transmission of X-rays. The X-ray photographing similar to ordinary X-ray photographing is executed by using this film package C and the part corresponding to the part stuck with the sheet 33 is removed after the X-ray photographing, by which the latent image of the X-ray is obtd. The codes are imparted to the film package C subjected to this X-ray photographing. The handling for impartation of the codes is facilitated in this way.
