PURPOSE: To obtain a decoration of multiple colors simultaneously with an enamel frit layer of a base by applying at least one layer of enamel frit slip to an object, then applying the enamel frit and inorg. pigments on this layer without curing the same.

CONSTITUTION: In the method for applying the decoration to the object 1, more particularly kitchen utensils, the enamel frit slip layer is dried and a paste 2 contg. the enamel frit, glass and a binder meltable by heating and crosslinkable when exposed to UV rays is heated to melt the binder and thereafter, the combination thereof is cured, to vitrify the enamel frit slip layer and the decoration. A rubber stamp 6, which is formed by using a precisely etched plate 5 to reproduce the decoration 7 to be applied, is used and is brought into contact with the paste 2 deposited on the plate 5 to adhere the paste 2. This paste is applied on the layer of the enamel frit slip deposited on the object 1. The binder contained in the paste 2 is melted by heating an ink forming device 7 and a support 8 of the plate 5.
