Abstract:

To provide a method for assaying VIC/ET2 and ET1 genes, and to provide primers and probe(s) therefor.

Primers for amplifying endothelin 1 (ET-1) gene and a probe for detecting the gene, which contain an oligonucleotide designed from regions of exons 1 to 3 of ET-1 gene and primers for amplifying vasoactive intestine contractive peptide (VIC) gene and a probe for detecting the gene, which contains an oligonucleotide designed from regions of exons 2 to 5 of VIC gene, are provided.
