To provide a sub-channel scheduling method in a plurality of user MIMO-OFDM environments.
This sub-channel assigning method is provided to correct proportional fairness scheduling specifications, and to maximize the through-put of this system under such conditions that the minimum data transfer rate required for a multi-media user is secured. A plurality of users are allowed to subscribe in a radio network, and a base station is provided with NT transmission antennas, and a certain user i is provided with NR receiving antennas. This sub-channel assigning method is provided to divide a network capacity to be determined by the NT transmission antennas and K sub-carrier groups into K sub-channel transmission, and to divide network band width to be determined by the NT transmission antennas into K sub-channels. The base station successively assigns channels to a plurality of users based on the proportional value of a data transfer rate at which each user is supported by each sub-channel and the mean through-put of each user within a predetermined time and service quality required by each user.
