Abstract:

To provide a method for assisting development of a pig embryo with which operation of the transplanting of a specific pig embryo such as a clone embryo or a fertilized embryo can be performed at small expenses in a short time as compared with those of a conventional method without requiring a conventionally required certain technique, to provide a somatic cell into which a GFP (green fluorescent protein) gene is transferred, to provide Kinkaton (a pig native to Kinka District, Chekiang Province, China) into which the GFP gene is transferred and to provide an offspring thereof.

The pig embryo is developed even into the pig offspring by simultaneously transplanting the pig embryo and a parthenogenetic embryo in the method for assisting the development of the pig embryo.
