To attach a memory module to a photographic film cartridge so as to load film in the quite same manner as a photographic film cartridge having no memory module.
The peripheral surface 12 of upper and lower cases 3 and 4 is formed in a shallowly recessed state in accordance with the width of a label 13 stuck to the surface 12, and a recessed part 16 in which the memory module 15 is housed is formed at one part of the central part thereof. The memory module 15 is fixed to a specified position on the back surface of the label 13, and the memory module 15 is housed in the recessed part 16 so as not to be protruded from the surface 12 in the case of sticking the label 13 to the surface 12. The memory module 15 is obtained by integrally attaching a semiconductor memory whose thickness is 0.5mm, for instance, to a substrate 22, and a signal input/output part 24 is provided at the center part of the back surface of the substrate 22. An aperture 13a through which the signal input/output part 24 is exposed is formed on the label 13.
