To attach a natural color photograph which does not semipermanently deteriorate, to an epitaph.
The surface of a cemamic material 2 is coated with a heat transfer adhesive 6 and a heat transfer photograph 3 printed on a heat transfer photographic paper in advance is bonded to the upper face of the adhesive 6 and pressed thereon and further, it is heated for about 3 min. in an atmosphere of about 70°C to transfer the photograph onto the surface of the seramic material. Further, a glass sheet 5 to which an ultra violet ray-cut sheet 4 is stuck is overlapped on the surface of the transferred photograph and the adhesive 7 is applied on the periphery to integrally form a photograph for an epitaph. The photograph 1 is attached to an optional position of the epitaph by using a weather-resistant or a water insoluble adhesive.
