Abstract:

To automatically execute position adjusting of a print head module along X and Y axes around Z axis.

A test pattern is printed on a receiving medium by means of a plurality of print head modules. The test pattern is analyzed, then it is judged whether or not the print head module should be repositioned with respect to a reference of the print head module. The print head modules are advanced along X and Y axes in parallel and rotated around Z axis to execute the position adjusting with respect to the reference of the print head module.
