Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate handling of a filling material to be used for preventing the tube from being crushed at the time of bending the tube.
CONSTITUTION: As the filling material to be inserted into a tube, a shape memory resin which shows a hard plastic quality at ordinary temperature and a rubbery quality at a temperature higher than 70°C is used. When after the tube is bent between dies 3, 4 at ordinary temperature, it is heated and the filling material is pulled out, the filling material 2 is elongated, its diameter is contracted, and pulling out is easily made. Because the pulled out filling material is returned to its original diameter, it is allowed to cool in a straight state and reused.
