Abstract:
PURPOSE: To form a mutually connecting part having no opened fine pore and made of lanthanum chromite on an air electrode. CONSTITUTION: In a fuel cell 10, after a based layer made of doped LaCrO3 particles is stuck to a part of an air electrode 16, the particles are coated with a composition of an upper layer and heating is carried out for a sufficient period to clog the fine pores opened in the doped LaCrO3 to form a mutually connecting layer 26. After that, a solid oxide electrolyte 18 is applied to the remaining part of the air electrode 16 and then the electrolyte is coated with an outside fuel electrode 20 made of a cermet.
