Abstract:

To provide a method of carbonization, capable of obtaining a uniform carbonized material having a definite form and physical properties by performing the granulation of a material to be carbonized by pressurizing so as to make the form of the material to be carbonized as a definite form, and carbonizing.

This method of carbonization is provided by adjusting the water content and form of the material to be carbonized in values capable of performing the granulation, performing the granulation while applying pressure with a granulation machine 13 and heating for carbonizing the granulated material to be carbonized in a carbonizing oven 14 under a low oxygen state.
