Title:
METHOD FOR CARRYING METALLIC FINE PARTICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3221142
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To carry metallic fine particles on a carrier in a state wherein the same are hardly detached therefrom by an easy operation such as agitation in a short time by dispersing metallic fine particles into a nonaqueous solvent incompatible with water and bringing the dispersed liquid into contact with the carrier.
CONSTITUTION: Metallic fine particles are dispersed into a nonaqueous solvent (e.g. xylene) incompatible with water and the dispersed liquid is brought into contact with a carrier. The metallic fine particles are the fine particles of metallic simple substance, mixed metals, alloy or an intermetallic compound. Further the carrier is constituted of at least one kind selected from among carbon, metal, alloy, alumina, silica, titania zirconia, inorganic composite oxide, zeolite, glass, natural high molecular substance and synthetic high molecular substance. As a result, the metallic fine particles are almost carried on the carrier in a state wherein the same are hardly detached therefrom by a simple means such as agitation in a short time at ordinary temperature and atmospheric pressure.
