Abstract:

PURPOSE: To manufacture a structural material of super heat resistant alloy by gradually adding Al after introducing Ar gas into melted Ni in a vacuum and lowering the temp. after heating.
CONSTITUTION: A cast material of Ni Al alloy is manufactured. Then the nickel is charged into an ingot case for high temp. After melting the nickel by heating at a fixed temp. raising speed in the vacuum, this molten nickel is held at a fixed temp. for a fixed time. After introducing the argon gas, the aluminum is gradually added into the molten nickel. After melting the aluminum by heating at a fixed temp. raising speed, this alloy is held at fixed temp. for a fixed time. Then this alloy temp. is lowered to the room temp. at a fixed speed. As the ingot case, alumina or calcia crucible is used. By this method, isothermal heat resistant and corrosion resistant structural material can be manufactured.
