To provide a method for changing printing plates in a both-side sheet printer, capable of efficiently performing the changing work of the printing plates as compared to a conventional method.
In the method for changing printing plates in a both-side sheet printer constituted by relatively changing the phases of plate cylinders 15, 16, 17, 18 on downstream side from a reversing cylinder 7 relative to the phases of plate cylinders 11, 12, 13, 14 on upstream side from the reversing cylinder 7 corresponding to the length of the sheet in printing both sides, the plate cylinder 11 on the upstream side from the reversing cylinder 7 and the plate cylinder 15 on the downstream side from the reversing cylinder 7 are matched with each other in the phases, to change the printing plate in the plate cylinder 11 on the upstream side with the printing plate in the cylinder 15 on the downstream side, each having the phase matched with each other.
