Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raw material-charging method that inhibits the influx of coke and the deviation of an amount of a mixed layer formed of the coke and ore in a circumferential direction in a furnace, which occur when the ore is charged onto a coke terrace having deviated terrace lengths.
SOLUTION: When sequentially charging the coke and the ore so as to form layers, this charging method charges 20 mass% or more ore at a distribution chute tilting angle of θ+2 degrees or lower, when the minimum tilting angle of the distribution chute during charging the coke is θ; or alternatively, charges the ore at the distribution chute tilting angle of θ+6 degrees or higher, and if there is limitation in the quantity, charges the remaining ore at the tilting angle of θ+2 degrees or lower.
