PURPOSE: To surely execute the check of a product confirming sensor and the control line and to prevent the accident caused by defective sensor and defective control line from happening.

CONSTITUTION: In a product taking-out process, in which the product 24 is taking out from a forming machine A with a product taking-out machine B and transported to a product transporting position after confirming whether the product 24 takes out or not, with the product confirming sensor S during transporting to the product transporting position, after the product 24 reaches the transporting position 10, the on- or off-condition of the product confirming sensor S is detected. In the case the product confirming sensor S is the off- condition, it is judged that the product confirming sensor S is normal, and in the case the product confirming sensor S is the on-condition, it is detected whether the product confirming sensor S changes over to the off-condition for fixed time or not. Then, in the case the product confirming sensor S changes over to the off-condition during the fixed time, it is judged that the product confirming sensor S is normal. In the case the on-condition thereof continues even after passing the fixed time, it is judged that this sensor is defective.
