Abstract:
To provide a method for circumferential machining along a shape related to a machining route, capable of lengthening the life of a cutter and shortening time while efficiently utilizing the effective blade length of an end mill or the like.
A pocket of an arbitrary shape is precut by executing cutting a circular-arc side according to an optimum circular arc with the maximum shape width calculated so that a tool EC comes into contact with a shape side at each cutout pitch to a hole H1 previously bored in an arbitrary shape to machine a work into the pocket and the like.
